It is still a disappointment that Eren Yeager the protagonist is dead by the end of the manga series. The fan did not expect the protagonist to die this way, so it was a heartbreak for all his fans. How did Eren Yeager die?

Eren Yeager is killed by his friend Mikasa Ackerman who will do anything for him. In the manga, Eren does not show his hatred toward Mikasa. She kills him to free herself from slavery. Mikasa Ackerman killed Eren Yeager in the Paradis War arc. 

It was an unexpected ending for the fans that Eren Yeager’s friend killed him in his titan form. She commits this act to free herself, and Eren also attacks some innocent people in the war that made Mikasa kill him. Mikasa beheads Eren and then kisses his head this shows that she still has concern for him. She killed him to free him from the Titan that has made him his slave.

This has put an end to the manga as there is no protagonist anymore; there is no reason for the series to continue. The end of a great and popular manga is disheartening for fans. At the end of Eren, the whole series has ended and the war between humanoid titans and humans has come to an end.

Eren Yeager Backstory

Our protagonist Eren Yeager is a 10-year-old boy who lives in Shiganshina. Eren Yeager decides to fight against the titan when his mother was eaten by a Titan. He then joins the Survey cops along with his friends Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert to fight against the Titans. In his journey of finding the Titans, he learns about new secrets and his ability to turn into a Titan.

Most of the story revolves around the struggles Eren Yeager goes through in his quest for the Titans. In the Paradise war Arch, Eren Yeager is killed by his friend Mikasa. This gave the manga a dark and tragic end.

Eren Yeager’s character goes through a huge shift. He uses his rage in a good way to fight against the Titans, but as the plot goes, he decides to kill all the people other than his country. This shift in his character led to his death. If he had had the same positive motivation throughout the end, then he would have not died but as he changed his motivation towards a negative one, he finds his end.

Mikasa Ackerman, Levi, Eren Yeager the protagonist of this manga, Armin Arlert, Historia Reiss, Jean Kirstein, Annie Leonhart, Erwin Smith, Reiner Braun, and Connie Springer. These are some of the major characters in the manga series.

Other than them, some humanoid titans and humans are also a part of this series. These characters were designed to justify their role. The plot and the characters of this story are praised by the audience and critics. It is a great series that was enjoyed by its readers. Its success is evident in the number of volumes released.
