Gohan
Gohan is the son of Goku and Chi-Chi. He is a half-Saiyan who is not interested in fighting in the war. He was not allowed to fight and is asked to concentrate on his studies by his strict mother. But when there is a problem for the earth his mother allows him to fight.
He is trained by his father Goku, but Gohan has more potential than Goku. According to the manga series, Goku is stronger than Gohan, but the anime series has made some alterations. In the anime, Gohan can excel more than Goku he is trained by Goku but he has more potential.
He possesses all the qualities of a Saiyan though he is a half-Saiyan. In the Manga series, the Half-Saiyan is more powerful than the full-Saiyan. Gohan is stronger than Goku in the fight against Raditz, Cell, and Goku.
Even Goku understands that Gohan is stronger than Goku so he lets Gohan fight against Cell. Goku was indulged in training all his life but Gohan naturally could fight in wars. This can be another piece of evidence that Gohan is created to be stronger than Goku.
