The opening shot of Open Your Eyes is so very intriguing. We see a woman who is sleeping peacefully, and suddenly we hear screams in her head, then she wakes up scared. Open your eyes is a polish supernatural thriller television show. It was created by Netflix. The series is also based on a novel that was released in 2013, the name of the novel was Druga szansa, and that was written by Berenika Miszczuk. This show would quench the thirst of all the horror fans out there, the plot is quite engaging, and the cinematography and acting of the characters make it even more intriguing and scary as well.
The show was made by Anna Jadowska and Adrian Paenk jointly in a collaboration. Additionally, the show was written by Milena Dutkowska, Igor Brejdygant, Kasper bajon and Klara Kochanska. This supernatural series comprises a total of six episodes. Each episode has a duration of around 54 minutes; that being said, it can be said that it is a total of 6 hours of absolute thrill and entertainment. The show was shown in a lot of places other than Poland, like Japan, India, the United Kingdom, and many more.
Open Your Eyes Season 2 Release Date
Open Your Eyes turned out to be a massive success for the Polish Entertainment industry. The first season premiered on Netflix on the 25th of August, way back in 2017.
Since the series is based on a book, and the book has not been renewed by the author, so it would be hard to ascertain when we can get a new season for the show.
Further, the creators of the show, as well as the streaming platform, are yet to say anything about it. So, for now, we can only wait and expect further announcements.

Open Your Eyes Season 1 Story
In this series, we see a girl named Julia (played by Maria Wawreniuk), who has no idea about her whereabouts as well as she is unsure about her identity as well. When she gets up to go about her day, an alarm clock goes off that tells her about the things she remembers about herself. She lost both her parents in a fire. She was named after her aunt, but she does not even know what her name is. She is seventeen years old and her birthday falls on the 6th of February. She was told that her teeth were going to fall off if she did not regularly brush them and take care of them. The place she is at, she has been there only for four days, and she is called by NN (no name).
It is a massive hospital-like building, and as she struggles to make her way around it, she comes across a lot of modern furniture and different lighting. Then she comes across a person of her age dancing there. Soon there were other kids there as well. They all have been in the Second Chance Memory Disorder Center for quite some time. Now, she meets a girl named Iza who has pink hair. She tells NN about what goes on there and what all can be expected too.
She gradually starts an interaction with the other kids as well there. They all have similar traumas there. She meets a boy named Adam, who shows her around the building. Soon enough, Julia starts experiencing weird and strange dreams and visions that get her to question her reality and the place she has been confined. She also tries to escape the institution so she can discover the truth about everything.
