Recently, the well loves and long series, the prequel of the hit series Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul came to an end. The finale episode was one of the most anticipated episodes on AMC this year. The finale had us biting our nails and got us wondering whether there will be more such spin-offs now that the show has ended, and what is in store for the Breaking Bad universe. let’s know more about What will be the next scene for the Breaking Bad universe.

Both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul have created and cultivated an enormous fan base, and because of their long-running time and big showtime, the fans got attached to the characters as well as they got invested in the lives and the stories a bit too much.
Will there be another spin-off?
It is, anyways, well known that Breaking Bad already has multiple spinoffs in Better Call Saul, El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, and various short-form content. So now, naturally, fans are wondering what is next for it.
After Better Call Saul’s season finale aired last Monday, it is very natural to wonder about what’s next after the success of AMC’s Breaking Bad. The Breaking Bad universe has been gradually expanding since the show’s final season in 2013. While Better Call Saul and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie are the two most well-known spinoffs, there is far more content inspired by Walter White’s Heisenberg journey than just the mainstream heavyweights.
Several pieces of short-form content were born from Better Call Saul’s run, including the Emmy-winning series Employee Training: Legal Ethics with Kim Wexler. To coincide with Better Call Saul’s final season, three web series spinoffs were also released on AMC+ in spring 2022: the animated Better Call Saul Presents Slippin’ Jimmy, Cooper’s Bar, and a continuation of Better Call Saul Employee Training. While there is plenty of side content, the main attraction is more traditional, long-form content. In that regard, it’s a unique story for the Breaking Bad universe.

The creator of the show Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan, recently also talked about a possible spin-off and what is in store for the Breaking Bad universe; he talked about various possibilities of more Breaking Bad spinoffs. He said that although he has thought of revising it more than once, given how long the show time is for both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, he says it would be unnatural to expect such loyalty from the people.
He said that after a certain point, it is hard to define things, and especially when you have done a lot for the universe already, you do not know what else to go for exactly, and so you want just to leave it alone altogether. While this isn’t precisely heartening or pleasure to hear the news, however, it does imply that more Breaking Bad spinoffs are still possible in the future, and we have not entirely ruled out the possibility thereof.
If more spinoffs occur, there will be a vast treasure trove of complex characters available for further exploration. Because of their complexities, well-known characters like Gus Fring may return, while someone who hasn’t been seen in years, like Hank Schrader, may be worthy of a spinoff.
What could there be in the next spinoff if it occurs?
Gus Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito, was one of television’s most terrifying villains in Breaking Bad, and he made a welcome return in Better Call Saul. Not only has Giancarlo Esposito expressed interest in reprising his role, but Better Call Saul season 6 includes a tease of Gus Fring’s backstory, hinting at the possibility of a Chicken Man prequel. Nacho Varga (Michael Mando) and Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) may also be strong candidates for the spinoff series after quickly becoming fan favorites on Better Call Saul.

However, if a return to Breaking Bad’s roots is desired, Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) would be an excellent choice. Further, Hank Schrader was one of the best characters of Breaking Bad, and he also made a nice little cameo in Better Call Saul season 5. His name was mentioned several times in the Better Call Saul series finale, including a moving monologue/tribute from his wife, Marie Schrader (Betsy Brandt). A Mike Ehrmantraut prequel/spinoff with Jonathan Banks returning and continuously playing younger versions of the same character could also be great from an unintentional comedy standpoint, just to reignite Better Call Saul’s de-aging controversy.
Almost every minor character on Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul has the potential for a spinoff. The beauty of having well-written, incredibly complex characters is that their journeys are never truly over. In the same vein, Vince Gilligan’s Breaking Bad journey may not be entirely over either.
