My Hero Academia Season 6 Release Date Updates!

The newly released poster features the numerous heroes from the My Hero Universe, the astonishing feature of the visual was that the eyes of all the heroes are fixed on a fixed point above their eye level, and the look and expression on their faces make it quite correctly an assumption that they are going to be fighting a common enemy. The villains are decorating the top part of the poster with their ominous presence. Below, you can see the full key visual newly released. The anime season six is set to premiere on the 1st of October.

Hero Fes is an annual event that is essentially always scheduled to promote My Hero Academia, and all the upcoming seasons of the anime series. However, as we know that the world and its regular and normal functioning were marred by the global pandemic, hence the Hero Fes did not take place in both the years 2020 and 2021.

However, the event returned with new vigour and excitement in 2022 and it delivered one of the most wonderful and happiest news for the My Hero Academia fans all over the world. My Hero Academia’s sixth season has been billed as the climactic final battle between the heroes and the villains, led by the newly awakened Tomura Shigaraki. This upcoming war arc was teased throughout the anime’s fifth season, which aired from March to September 2021.

When season five of the famous and well-loved Anime My hero Academia ended last year, the makers promptly announced that they plan to have a sixth season as well. Now, almost ten long months later we finally got the official confirmation for the release date for season six of My Hero Academia. It is determined and announced that season six is going to be released in the fall of 2022.

The news came after an event called My Hero Academia Hero fes was held in Tokyo, on Sunday. That is where they released the date along with a key visual, to help fans memorize the date vividly.

My Hero Academia Season 6 Release Date

My Hero Academia (Japanese 僕のヒーローアカデミア), is a Japanese superhero manga series. It has been written as well as illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi.

The manga is set in a world where superpowers are called quirks and are fairly very common things in that world. The story revolves around one Izuku Midoriya, who is a young boy who was born without any quirk but that did not deter his dreams of becoming a superhero still.

He is scouted by the greatest hero of Japan named All Might. All Might bestows his superpower, his quirk to Midoriya because he saw in him a potential to become something great, and he also helps him to enrol him in a very prominent and well-reputed high school for superheroes to be trained there.

The series was first serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in July 2014, its chapters were collected in a total of thirty-five tankobon volumes as per the reports in 2022. Not only this, there are numerous spin-off manga such as My Hero Academia: Smash!!, Vigilantes and My Hero Academia: Team-up missions. There is also an anime series that is broadcasted by the studio Bones. The first season of the anime series premiered in Japan way back in 2016, from April to June.

Then the second season came from April to September in 2017, followed by the third season in 2018 which ran from April to September. Then the fourth season came in 2019 October and finished in April 2020. The last season that we got was the fifth season which ran from March to September of 2021. Now we will get another season, season six in October 2022, which is expected to be finished in April itself, as per the anime pattern that it has.

Not only this, the manga has also received three animated films as well, they are titled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: heroes rising and the third one is My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission. There are also plans to make a live-action film by the legendary entertainment.

Both the manga as well as its anime adaptation have received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and are very much loved by their audiences, and are also widely considered to be among the best of the decade.

The manga received several awards, including the Sugoi Japan Award and the Harvey Award for Best Manga. Numerous awards have been bestowed upon the anime series, including Anime of the Year at the inaugural Crunchyroll Anime Awards. As of January 2022, the manga had sold over 65 million copies worldwide, making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

The setting of My hero Academia is in a world where being born with superheroes is very commonplace, and most of the human population has gained the ability to develop various superpowers. These superpowers are called ‘Quirks’. These quirks mostly develop in children by the time they are four years old.

According to some statistics, around 80% of the population has quirks. Since there are a lot of varieties and diversity in Quirks, it is extremely unlikely and almost impossible to find two people with the same quirks, but it is sometimes possible when they are closely related.

Among the people who have enhanced their quirks through training and all, some earn the title of a ‘Hero’, these heroes work with the authorities in a lot of rescue operations and they apprehend criminals who abuse their quirks.

The series essentially revolves around a young boy named Izuku Midoriya. In a world where almost the whole population has quirks, Izuku is born without them and the quirks did not develop in him even when he was four. However, despite this lack of a superpower, he dreams and is determined to become a superhero. He is bullied by his childhood friend Katsuki Bakugo. Katsuki is a very violent young man. Both Katsuki and Midoriya totally worship and idolize the world’s greatest hero at that time named All Might.

They both get a chance to meet him when Izuku got to know about a critical injury All Might has that he hides from the world, due to various moral reasons. All Might get particularly impressed by Midoriya and he tells him about his quirk and the nature of it, ‘One For All’. He passes it down to Izuku and tells him to succeed after he saw his resilience in the face of danger.

Then we see that as Izuku begins his journey to becoming a hero by attending the U.A. High School (, Yei Kk) alongside Bakugo and the friends they make in Class 1-A, All For One, a nemesis to the “One For All” users, orders his apprentice Tomura Shigaraki to destroy the current society including all the heroes too.

My Hero Academia Upcoming Seasons

The sixth season of My Hero Academia comes at a very good time. this is the time when it is highly anticipated as the narrative of My Hero Academia comes to a very climactic conflict between the new collaboration between the Paranormal liberation front, the heroes of the association and the students of U.A. High.

Despite the high-stakes setups established in the previous season, My Hero Academia’s fifth season left fans wanting more from the franchise, putting pressure on the upcoming sixth season to blow its predecessor out of the water now that the set-up is complete. My Hero Academia can be watched in its entirety up to season 5 on Crunchyroll, which will also simulcast the upcoming season. The Original Video Animations (OVAs) from season five of My Hero Academia will be released on the Crunchyroll Streaming platform on the 1st of August.

Now, as we know that the My Hero Academia fans have been waiting far too long for new episodes, but their patience will be rewarded soon. After all, season six is approaching, and the upcoming update will be one of the most intense yet. After all, My Hero Academia is gearing up for its darkest arc yet, and we now know when season six will begin!

Of course, this isn’t the only anime set to premiere in the fall. My Hero Academia is one of several popular shows set to return to television in October. Season three of Mob Psycho 100 will premiere this fall, along with the second season of Spy x Family. Season two of To Your Eternity is also expected to premiere, as is Season four of Golden Kamuy. In terms of brand-new titles, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, along with Blue Lock and Urusei Yatsura, has confirmed a fall release window. In a nutshell, this fall, it is going to be a huge treat for anime lovers.
