RRR Movie Storyline
The story is set up in Delhi away from their native land. It is a story of the Bheem tribal leader of Gond who tries to save a girl Malli, from their tribe which the British leader abducted. There he meets Alluri Sitarama Raju a police officer. He is assigned to find Bheem but later they hide their identities and become good friends. But later Alluri Sitarama Raju finds Bheem’s true identity, and he put him in jail.
Later Alluri Sitarama Raju realizes his mistake after knowing the truth about Bheem’s reason for attacking the British. In the end, Sitarama Raju helps Bheem save Malli but Bheem mistakes him and he leaves him behind and Alluri Sitarama Raju is put in jail. Sita meets and narrates these incidents to Bheem. Finally, Bheem saves Alluri Sitarama Raju and they both kill Scott.
IS RRR Based on a True Story?
It is not a true story but inspired by some real-life leaders. But the true story is Bheem is a tribal leader and he fights for his people. Alluri Sitarama Raju is an educated man who helps his people to fight the Britishers by supplying guns to attack them. Though it is an inspirational story we can expect some real-life incidents of the revolutionists added to it to make it realistic.
The scene where Ram charan in the movie supplies guns to the people in the end to kill the Britishers is a direct reference from the original life story of Alluri Sitarama Raju.
Rajamoui says that he got the inspiration for this movie from a Hollywood movie “The Motorcycle Diaries”. He was fascinated by how the character Che transforms into a revolutionary called Guevara. In this movie, he has written his characters following the same patterns.
