Eve Episode 12 Review: Is The Story Going Good?

Eve (Hangul – 이브) is an ongoing South Korean television series. It is also known as Eve’s scandal. The television series was highly anticipated as it marked the return of very famous South Korean actress Seo Yea-Ji. It also stars famous Korean actors like Park Byung-eun, Lee SANG-Yeob and Yoo sun. The series first premiered on tvN on June 1st, 2022. New episodes are aired every Wednesday and Thursday.

Eve Episode 12 Review

The series mainly revolves around Lee La-el (played by Seo Yea-Ji), whose fake name in the series is Kim Sun-bin. Her family was brutally murdered fifteen years ago by very powerful businessmen. She survived as she got help at the right moment.

Then with the help of some family friends, she is sent to the US. She returns years later and is determined to take her revenge. She gets close to Han So-ra, who is the wife of Kang Yoon-gyeom, a very rich and powerful businessman. Han So-ra is the daughter of the prime minister, and her family was the one who killed La El’s family. La-el starts an illicit affair with Kang and then starts to know more and more about the family so she can plot her downfall well.

Eve Episode 12 Review

In this episode, So- Ra learns the truth about Kim Sun-bin’s past and her real identity as Lee La-el. This episode starts with La-el reflecting on her frequent nightmares, and she has had them for years now. When La-el wakes up, she is in the church, sleeping in Yoon-arms. Kyum’s Moon-Hee is keeping an eye on her. Moon-hee admits she had no idea La-el was wrestling with her inner feelings, trying hard not to fall in love with Yoon-Kyum, as Yoon-Kyum gives them some space.

Meanwhile, So-Ra goes on the offensive once more, spreading the word about La-el’s affair. She refuses to divorce and instead intends to cause havoc. She calls Dam-Ri and offers to reveal everything in an exclusive article. Not only that, but So-Ra discovers the whereabouts of Yoon-Kyum and Ra-El, who are simply strolling up the beach outside of Seoul.

Kang then asks La-el to run away with him, but she laughs it off; then, he notices the cut on her hands and assumes that she is hiding something from him. Moon-Hee calls Eun-Pyeong and requests his assistance in dealing with Ra-El. She had previously attempted suicide after her parents’ deaths, and it turns out. She is concerned that La-elis unstable, and the cut-up of her arm could be an indication that her mental state is deteriorating once more.

As a result, Moon-Hee suggests that he inform La-el that he will not be returning. Eun-Pyeong approaches La-eland suggests she abandon her feelings for the chairman and instead go with him. La-el declines. Only she and Eun-Pyeong are targeted by masked assailants. As someone lunges at La-el with a knife, Eun-Pyeong steps in and takes the blow himself. So-goons Ra’s rush away as he lies bleeding on the floor.

Because of this, La-el decides to go all in and declares an open war. Meanwhile, So-ra digs deep into the past of Sun-Bin and learns that she is La-el. Then Kang catches sun-bin in his private room, going through his files. La-el tries to explain herself, claiming she was playing with the kids, but it’s clear Yoon-Kyum no longer trusts her. La-el is taken aback and rushes off to inform Eun-Pyeong that she has been apprehended.

She also messages Moon-hee, but she does not respond. It’s easy to see why. So-Ra has kidnapped Moon-hee and imprisoned her in the same room where her family murdered La-eland her father. Moon-hee has been beaten into submission. So-Ra is on a roll now, and she figures out who La-elis, laughing in her face after discovering the truth. Not only that, but So-Ra decides to inform Yoon-Kyum as well.

Episodes 13th and 14th will be released on upcoming Wednesday and Thursday. It would be thrilling to see what will happen next.
